Trusted Penrith Diesel Workshop
First Diesel Services is Penrith’s dedicated diesel workshop, based just off Mulgoa Road in Jamisontown. Led by Roger Sekhon, with over 40 years of diesel fuel injection experience across England, New Zealand and Australia, our team handles everything from logbook servicing for your diesel ute or 4WD through to specialist common rail injector and pump testing — work most general mechanics send away. If your diesel needs a specialist, you don’t need to leave Penrith to find one.
Diesel Servicing and Logbook Repairs
Full logbook servicing for all diesel makes and models — utes, 4WDs, vans and passenger vehicles — keeping your new car warranty intact. Serviced to manufacturer specifications by qualified diesel technicians.
Fuel Injection & Common Rail Specialists
Not every workshop can test what we test. Our Jamisontown facility is equipped with dedicated diesel pump and injector testing equipment for modern common rail systems — so instead of replacing parts on guesswork, we diagnose the actual fault and fix it once.

Our Journey
From Nepean Diesel Services to First Diesel
Many Penrith locals knew this workshop as Nepean Diesel Services on York Road. In August 2017, Roger Sekhon acquired the business and rebranded it First Diesel Services, later moving to a larger facility at 4 Robertson Place, Jamisontown, and investing in state-of-the-art common rail testing equipment. Same local roots — significantly expanded capability.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the best diesel mechanic in Penrith?
The right diesel mechanic depends on what your vehicle needs. For specialist work — injectors, fuel pumps, common rail systems, turbochargers — look for a workshop with in-house diesel testing equipment rather than one that outsources the work. First Diesel Services in Jamisontown is one of the few workshops in the Penrith area with dedicated common rail pump and injector testing on site.
Can I get my diesel serviced without voiding my new car warranty?
Yes. Under Australian law, any licensed repairer can carry out logbook servicing as long as it’s done to the manufacturer’s specifications — you’re not locked into the dealer. First Diesel Services performs logbook servicing on all diesel makes and models and stamps your logbook accordingly.
Why is my diesel losing power or going into limp mode?
Common causes include failing injectors, a blocked DPF, turbo faults, or fuel supply problems. Most diesel fault codes have several possible causes, which is why proper diagnosis matters — replacing parts based on the code alone gets expensive fast. We test the actual components to find the real fault.
How much does a diesel service cost in Penrith?
It varies by vehicle and service schedule interval. Call us on 02 4731 1188 with your make, model and km and we’ll give you a straightforward price before you book.
